Congratulations to Gerry, Chris and Eurof who recently completed the Carten Bike ride or for non cyclist , Cardiff to Tenby. The ride proved eventful for Gerry who had a major mechanical issue and was forced to divert to a local bike shop in Swansea to get him back on the road. Thankfully and a couple of hours later he was on his way and arrived in Tenby before the bars closed!! As well as succesfully competing the route they raised over £1000 for the Breast Care Now charity.

For most people that would be enough riding for a while, however they were back on the bike a few weeks later. This time the ride took them from Nantgarw to Brecon and back as part of the Head for the Hills event organised by Velindre Hospital. Well done lads!!
