Supporting the Community

Welcome.

Creigiau 23 is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) based in the beautiful village of Creigiau in Cardiff, the capital of Wales, United Kingdom.

The purpose of the society is to voluntarily raise and distribute funds for the betterment of the community whilst also promoting a full and active social calendar.

Recent News.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of former Creigiau23 member, Professor Delme Bowen.

Delme was a hugely respected figure within our community, serving Creigiau and St Fagans with dedication for many years, and going on to become Lord Mayor of Cardiff in 2011–2012, the first from Plaid Cymru to hold the role.

We are especially proud of the connection he maintained with Creigiau23. A memorable occasion for our members was the invitation to the Mansion House during his time as Lord Mayor — a reflection of his continued support and pride in the community he represented.

Delme’s contribution to public life, education, and our local area will not be forgotten.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with his family and friends at this difficult time.
